  • we need a new toaster & am looking at this one http://www.johnlewis.com/de%27longhi-cto4003r-icona-toaster-4-slice-red/p1017096
& it seems to be the cheapest price i can find, can anyone find this any cheaper? tia :)

Sorry I can't find it cheaper for you, but I can say I have this toaster and love it. I clean it with one of those microfibre magic cloths and it comes up like new.
The matching kettle is not as good though, we are on our third lid, within 12 months, as it keeps cracking, which is clearly a design fault.

Thanks for the new thread Lutzi1.
I've enjoyed reading back about all the old glitches. The big A glitch was when I discovered the elite. I went on holiday half way through it and still got loads. Could do with another cereal glitch soon though, we're down to three boxes.
My other favourite elite memory is when the photo of that Felix guy kept getting posted. He was rather easy on the eye :D

thanks damo :) it looks really good :T was looking on hukd & looks like it has been found cheaper in the past including from john lewis but couldn't find any cheaper now :( think i might bite the bullet & get it as we're having to turn our toast around half way through as a whole slice doesn't fit in our £5 t's value toaster :rotfl:
