I bought these last night in @ 3 pks for £2 bought with the trigger footballs:j meaning really cheap biscuits:beer:

Today I think has been a success:j only one little "accident" at grandmas when he came in from outside....

Several successful visits to the potty since we came home, hes just been going on his own, :T he just needs to progress to wearing his trousers and telling me when he needs to go so I can help....
    Hopefully we are getting there..:)

Could someone please explain the situation with the Dove pomegranate deo? I'm trying to only buy things I'll actually use, so I'm not wasting pennies buying carp for the sake of it (I do like a good bargain and can get a bit carried away!). I know it's not MSE if I buy things and they then go to waste, so I'm trying to be strict with myself :o

    Any advice gratefully received!

p.s. I noticed it's the compact version, what are the general thoughts on this? When I first saw them I thought 'there is no way there's the same amount of product in there as in the double-sized spray' and assumed they were trying to pull a fast one in terms of shrinking product size but price staying the same. If it's really the same amount of product, why have they continued to sell the larger spray, which surely incurs greater shipping and production costs?

maybe it's being phased out or (more likely) they are running both concurrently to see which proves more popular with consumers

After all, you're saying you're not convinced it's the same amount of product in a smaller can...it might be that most people will go for the largest can regardless of how concentrated the contents are

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
No trip to Ipswich for me today, for reasons only known to dh, he announced that its tomorrow we are going. Maybe, me thinks. I know he or me will have to wait in for euros to be delivered grrr

It also turns out that Brittania bs (co-op) have sent £16000 to our joint account in TSB !!!!!! we had only sent them extra to top up a year saving thing and they should have sent us the interest. dh going to pull the lot out I think the mood he is in :(

I think I might just go to MrT for burgers and yogs :) use up my £9 pp
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

You do right to limit what you buy. I stopped doing 10p sweets as fillers, and get carrots, onion, bananas etc. Much better for me and our fridge. :rotfl:

I also think it's a little con with the deodorant.. doubt you get as much use but someone correct me if I'm wrong :D

I know what you mean, I've just come home from asda after doing another JF shop. Was in there ages scanning stuff with my phone in the 3 for £5 offer trying to find a trigger but to no avail :( it's a shame as there's some fab deals on Nivea stuff in Waities to compare, if only there was a trigger. Someone mentioned dove go fresh pomegranate 125ml but I couldn't find this. Anyway I was worrying about being watched on camera and people wondering what I was doing so gave up.

I thinks it's getting to easier to spot misprices A's is a bit predictable with the length of time something is on deal for then bk to full price then multi buys and repeat :D:D:D
I prob wouldn't of left if I didn't have dd with me and phone was nearly flat I needed to get home and check apg..
Ignore reality. There's nothing you can do about it.
    I have done reading too!
personally test's all her own finds
