Same name credit history problem
My friend and his dad both have the same first and last name and have previously lived at the same address. My friend's dad has had bad credit in the past and this has now resulted in my friend not being able to get loans etc because they think he is his dad.
What should my friend do to get round this? He seems to have hit a brick wall when trying to take up the issue with Experian.
Any advice would be very useful
Thanks

What exactly do his credit record say about him and the father?
If there are links to his father he needs to get the CRAs to disassociate him.0
