Should it be from date of bankruptcy order and not discharge date?

Orange/Everything Everywhere have sent me this email after ages of me trying to get them to correct my credit file as it currently says I am in default. My questions are firstly, is it ok to say partially settled and not settled/satisfied? As partially shows its still outstanding in some way doesnt it?
Secondly, they have said they have amended my credit file to show on the date of discharge, however that means that it will adversely affect my file a year AFTER the bankruptcy drops off my file and this creditor was in my bankruptcy?!
"We have received the list of creditors within your last correspondence and hence have amended your credit file to show as Partially settled on the date of discharge shown on discharge certificate.
These changes have been done on all 3 credit reference agencies of UK and will reflect on your credit file after 10th of the following month."

Satisfaction date should be your discharge date, yes.
However the account drops off 6 years from the default date, no matter what the satisfaction date is.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

No it means that the debt is settled/satisfied, but the creditor was forced to settle for less that the full amount. As in the case of a balance written off in a BR.
It's not a very clear way of expressing it I must admit, but a settlement/satisfaction is a settlement/satisfaction, even if a partial one.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Some of them just hate saying "satisfied"
With me it was O2, they kicked and screamed, they were on my BR account as owed, it took ages and the intervention of the IS to convince them0 -
HSBC with me, the OR has told me to report them to the information commissioner if they continue to ignore my discharge and default dates
Good luckIf you woke up this morning congratulations, you have another chance :j0 -
Also complain and take them to the FOS. That could cost them £550.
