Digital SLR Repair Belfast?

Hi,

Does anyone know of any digital SLR repair places in Belfast (or even further afield)?

Recently cracked the screen and lcd on my Canon 550d :(:(

I'm willing to look into fixing myself if necessary, but wouldn't be confident, so I would be interested in going to someone local if the price is right

There used to be a wee man in Balloo Ind Estate in Bangor, fixed camcorders and cameras, but I think he has moved on or retired. Real shame as he was amazing and fixed several items for us at a great price.

I googled DSLR repairs in Norn Iron and there are quiet a few places but this one

May be better use for you as they are canon specialists.

If they are no good give Calumet or DL Kirkpatricks a ring and see if they recommend anyone locally, always ask for an assessment and price before the repair thou, most reputable companies will do this for free first of all.
I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:

Canon, Lehmanns (my personal preference for Canon Pro repairs), Fixation (all uk)

Probably not worthwhile repairing but worth giving the above a call to find out. They can give you quotes for just the replacement part and there are loads of videos on the web about how to replace it yourself. You can get 3rd party replacement parts on ebay so give it a go and if all else fails you have a quote for genuine canon replacement parts.
