    Perhaps you should look up 'Third Party Debt Order' and then reconsider your ill concieved threat to go freelance.......

    Any credit control system will know the enforcement proceedures better than you currently do, so unless you plan to off shore, your freelance income isn't safe.

    However, depending on the amounts you may owe, if may or may not be worthwhile them chasing you.
