DIY business cards

I urgently need some business cards (for Monday!), only about a dozen and thought the best way to do it would be to print myself a sheet and then laminate them. However the flaw in my idea is that I don't have publisher, can anyone suggest a free template for business card printing.
Any other suggestions would also be welcome, I have tried my local high street already to see if anyone had one of those 'card printing machines' but had no luck.

There are print your own card packs available, I use publisher when printing mine but you can use most software as they use a standard layout. Avery also have a card printing add on for word.
The cards are great they just snap apart and look like profesional cards opposed to those that you cut up yourself, I get mine from staples. a laminated card looks fine but the problem is they are not business card sized, people have wallets for business cards and they take a standard size.0 -
If you visit the avery website they have lots of free downloadable templates for designing such things. http://www.avery.co.uk/uk1/index.jspThe bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Thank you everyone, I have made a rough draft and am just waiting for my son to come home and help me!
