I am planning to take early retirement and move abroad (we have a house in the Philippines) I will have pension income plus rental income from a uk property.will I be able to still take advantage of my and my wife's uk tax code against this income.our total income will be less than £10000 each so would we therefore pay no uk income tax.

will you ever visit or return to UK?
will you retain a UK adress?
where will you be deemed to be resident? (as defined by HMRC)
similarly where will you be domiciled?
who owns the rental property, you or your wife?
is the pension income solely yours, or is it split?
is there a reciprocal tax agreement betwen UK and Phillipines? The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -
Is a UK state pension paid to pensioners resident in the Phillipines indexed or frozen?0
