NHS Pension question.

Options
Hi guys. 1st post so please be gentle with me!

I retired from the NHS last month. My monthly pension is being paid to me on the 12th of each month.

Does anybody know if it is possible to get the date this is paid changed? It would more convenient for me from a budgeting perspective. All my bills go out on the 1st.

Best bet would be to ask NHS pensions. However I would personally think no.

I did ask them and they said that it is possible to get the day one is paid changed however they deal with each request on its merits and on an individual basis. They said they will write to me in due course to let me know their decision. Watch this space!

Quite common if the payroll provider also pays pensions, to stagger the two as end of month and middle. For their convenience, not ours. Let us know the result.
