Why? I mean, obviously, it's not good to become bankrupt, but it's probably the easiest way here. I offered them monthly payments of 150 pounds, but they reclined, it would obviously take ages to pay that back. But I can't pay them much more on my salary, especially as I have to pay back two student loans in my home country. And given the fact that I see a small chance that they are just threatening me/small chance that it will be difficult to get that gambling debt back without a UK license, I don't see many alternatives. I talked to StepChange, the 150 pounds are the money that I can afford to pay them back, if they recline that I can only wish them good luck and hope that my employer doesn't get to know about this. But in the end I'll probably head back to my home country where gambling debt is not legally enforcable.
Given my addiction it would probably be good not to be allowed any more credit due to bankruptcy, which is probably the most negative thing.0
