I am trying to glue the side laminate of a kitchen worktop back in place.
Attempted so far:
- Loctite superglue.
- Hard as nails.
- Handyman visited twice, not sure what he used, but it didn't work both times.
Ideas welcome.

This is strong glue. It can glue most things and almost instantly but still moveable. I use it myself in fact I got some to glue some concrete blocks

I thought that when new the edges were just ironed on .
I would make sure you removed any old glue and my choice would be Araldite.0 -
I would use Evo-Stik Impact adhesive. Follow the instructions - leave both surfaces until dry to the touch and then stick. A bit like this:

Yes usually ironed on, but as mentioned remove all traces of old glue before you try again. I would use and impact adhesive such as evo-stick (other brands are available)One man's folly is another man's wife. Helen Roland (1876 - 1950)0

So I'll go for Evo Stick; screwfix at £2.99 for 250g beats poundland £1 for 35g. :money:
Sequence:- Remove old glue.
- Apply as per instructions.
- Iron??? You half lost me here.

OK so I applied the Evo Stik glue. I'm not particularly proud of the job, this stuff is so messy and difficult to deal with. Any idea on how I can clean any excess glue?
Furthermore, do I need to apply a hot iron on top as recommended above?
