I like to do crosswords, i save the blank crossword as a photo, then usually print it, now my printer has broken, is there any way i can add the letters/text to it, like via some free software?
Thank you

(I'll try my best as I'm used to mac software but..)
You could try loading it into an image editing program such as Paint, but I don't know if you still can get that on windows 7 or whether it was removed.
If you have publisher or powerpoint, then you can just open the picture in one of the files and use the pen to write the letters in, but it might be a bit difficult, as it would be quite small.
http://www.gimp.org That's free and you can use the pens on that.
http://www.getpaint.net is like paint.
If you want to have a look at those and then see if they are any good?
Sorry I can't be of much more help, I'm so used to using iPhoto. But, we used those at uni.
If they're no good, I can have another search for youxx
