Help! Would you freeze these items?

I'd freeze both too but the gratin may contain cream which might separate on defrosting. I don't defrost anything like that anyway, just put it in the oven for a little longer.
i think the only thing I'd definitely defrost is meat on the bone - everything else I usually just cook from frozen, unless I need the freezer space to re-use for something.0 -

Ordered new cooker but not going to be delivered till the 4th March so still a while off, have put the items in the freezer though and will just hope for the best. & as per advice I will cook the veg dish from frozen when I get around to it instead of defrosting

Have you tried steaming the veggies in a microwave? I do that all the time. Just put into a microwaveable container preferably one with a lid and put in boiling water and steam until cooked. I find that most veg is ready in 7 to 10 minutes, even a whole head of cauliflower. It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0 -
is the gratin precooked? Raw potatoes do not freeze but other root veg and cooked potatoes are fine0

The leftovers, probably. The rice, no. The toxins produced by the bacteria specific to rice are not destroyed by heat.If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5?
