I love the smell of washing powder & fabric conditioner.

The Surf with herbal extracts is really strong - it's quite a 'bubblegummy' scent though so it's definitely one to sniff in the shop before you buy! I also find the Sainsbury's own brand Jasmine and Lavender washing liquid to be very strong, and nice if you like a lavender smell. Add some lavender Comfort too for an even stronger scent!
The Ariel with Febreeze is also quite strong, if you're looking for a traditional washing smell.0 -
lidl formil is very strong, especially the liquid, and is on par with ariel and persil for perfume strength. Before you point fingers, make sure your hands are clean !;)0

I dont like those alternative fragranced ones, I like the classic powder & softner smell.
I do like the ariel fabreeze, but ideally I want a wash I can get the coloured version in.0 -
Lenor summer breeze and the smell does last.0

I find the co-op's biological gel has a lovely, strong scent- I can still smell it over the fabric softener. It lasts well, and the bottle lasts well too, even in a household of four. They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.0

Lenor Spring Awakening, definitely the strongest and most pleasant smell, IMO, and the longest lasting0

Don't use the same ones all the time, as with plug in's etc, you get immune to the smell, hence why some of them alternate between 2-3 different fragrances.
I buy different combinations of softener and washing liquid each week, usually determined by what's on offer.0 -
The Kirkland one from Costco. Washes well and lasts ages too.

I find Bold 2 in 1 really strong - it takes weeks to wash out even when you're actually trying to get rid of it. I do love the smell of detergent but hate Bold... hence needing to wash it out!0
