Best place to get a £1000 loan (can't be a credit card)

I need a loan for £1000. I have already got a load of credit cards for 0% APR, none of them will increase my credit limit. So that isn't an option for the £1000.

I will pay back the £1000 within a matter of weeks/months in full, but I need the money now/soon.

Despite what I just said, I do have a really good credit rating etc. I'm not some indebt spending freak. Just saw a good offer and need to buy before I can sell.

So a personal loan is the best option, right? Secondly, where can I find a list of lenders with the best APR rates. Similar to the page on this site that lists the lowest APR credit cards, but for loans?

I know it cant be one of the credit cards that you have, could you apply for a new credit card.

Other than that, a personal loan from your bank maybe?

A personal loan may not be the best option, speaking to your own bank might be the best option. Whatever number the credit ref agencies give you is irrelevant, whether you can get a loan for the £1k is dependant whats on your credit file. What is it that you saw a good offer for ?

Why don't you apply for another credit card, that isn't 0%?

The interest may well be lower than on a loan. Small loans are usually high interest.

If you are going to pay it back in the next few months that might be the best option. If you can't borrow more on your cards, what makes you think you are certain to get a loan? You may be seen as too near your credit limits to be lent any more.

If you're going to repay in a few months, an overdraft might be the way to go. Banks aren't keen to make personal loans for small amounts.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.
