Confused about CRA entries

Hi to everyone on this board. Looking for some advice. My partner was declared bankrupt on 18/6/2008 and discharged a year later. We are hoping to get a remortgage after this date this year. Currently I have a mortgage with my ex husband who I separated from over 10 years ago but I have had bad credit myself although never bankrupt so haven't been able to do anything as yet. Anyway on Noddle it shows the date of bankruptcy and discharge but just want to check if the debts that were in the bankruptcy have been recorded correctly. This is how they are showing:
Nat West Bank :
Start date : 15/03/2004
Opening Balance : £4133
Default Balance : £5879
Date of default : 31/05/2008
Account End Date : 11/07/2011 PS
Nat West Loan :
Start date : 18/03/2004
Opening Balance : £7582
Default Balance : £5062
Date of Default : 31/05/2008
Account End Date : 11/07/2011 PS
Northern Rock :
Start Date : 20/02/2006
Opening Balance : £15,093
Default Balance : £0
Date of Default :16/07/2008
Account End Date : 31/12/2008 SF
Northern Rock :
Start Date : 20/02/2006
Opening Balance : £55,062
Default Balance : £0
Date of Default : 23/05/2008
Account End Date : 31/12/2008 SF
My main concern is the date that the accounts were satisfied. We thought these debts would disappear from his file on the dates they were defaulted but the companies continued with DF markers until the account end dates. Any advice or reassurance would be gratefully received

Hi, the account end date doesn't matter, the accounts will fall off the record 6 years from the date of default. One account is not due to fall off until a month after your bankruptcy which you get amended but it's up to you if you decide to do that, it's not really worth it now unless you can't wait the extra month.

Thank you so much for your quick reply. That is a relief to know. Will just leave going for the mortgage until end of July then to be on the safe side once we have checked they have all disappeared. We are going to go through a broker as my credit file still has some late payments on it from 3+ years ago. Am I correct in thinking that we have to declare that he has previously been bankrupt and do we voluntarily tell them this or wait to be asked?0

Hi again, you will need to tell the broker from the start so they only approach lenders who will consider past bankrupts. The question will be asked sooner or later and you will have to say yes so much better the broker knows the whole picture from the off!

Ok thanks again
This is what I thought. No idea where to find a reputable broker who deals with the whole of the market. Have asked around but have no friends who are past bankrupts. I know we won't get back on the high street (my current mortgage with my ex husband is with Santander and is very low) but I know not all brokers search the whole of the market. Don't want to pay hundreds out for someone who only looks at the high street lenders. Am I best asking this question on the mortgage forum? 0
