My wages went into the bank today :j
Cancelled my Spice membership today, another £12 per month freed up to pay to my credit cards. I am heartily enjoying finding extra bits of money here and there.
I bought my lunch today with my Boots points as I didn't have any bread at home. Going to pop to the shop on my way home for bread, tin of pineapple and a gammon steak for my tea, which i'm going to cook with homemade wedges, a fried egg and grilled pineapple ring.
Hope everyone is having a good day!May Grocery Challenge - £34.58/£75

Hi there
Just wondering how you got on with the veggie box. I've pondered one too at times, £10 per week is it? but not sure if I'd use it all or just get fed up looking at veggies every day.
You're doing great with the debt busting. If you know you have enough, you're rich.

Hello Everyone,
I haven't been on for a while, but some really good things have been happening for me regarding my debt busting.
I put my flat up for sale, accepted an offer on the 28th March and completed on the 30th June. As of today I have ZERO DEBT, yes I am debt free :j
I have paid off and closed all my credit cards and catalogue accounts, I literally have no access to any credit which suits me perfectly.
Not only that, but I have almost 20k left over in my bank (that I have given my Mom the card to, she just gives me cash each week) for as deposit on a new house. Unfortunately the area I live in and with my credit file i'll need another 10K before I have a 15% deposit that I would need. But my Mom and Dad are great, they've let me live at home for 6 months rent free so I can look at buying a new house in January.
So, sorry I never kept posting in on this diary but I felt a bit of a fraud with selling my house to pay off my debts, like it was an easy way out. But looking back in a years time I know it'll be the best thing i've ever done. I know i'll never let myself get into so much debt ever again.
Here's to the future!! :beer:May Grocery Challenge - £34.58/£75
