Trouble with survey sites!

Hi all
I have registered with various survey sites, but so far haven't been very successful.
I get part way through a survey and although I have ticked the relevant box/s, it's telling me to answer the questions!
I'm beginning to think they're getting their answers but in not allowing me to complete the survey, they don't have to pay me.
This has happened a couple of times, and is very annoying.
Anyone else had this problem?

Hi Paigesaunt,
I'm not sure if there's a better forum on MSE for answers to this question... I don't see these pay-per-survey sites mentioned here much. I'm sure someone else here will know better than me?
Meanwhile, this isn't the right place even if we do answer this question here - don't worry, we all post on the wrong board
I will ask a BG to move your thread somewhere more appropriate

I do surveys for a few companies and you WILL get screened out quite often.
I used to work as an interviewer and can reliably inform you that all surveys will have a certain demographic and criteria to fill to get a cross section of opinions. These include age, sex, job, and area. (and others from time to time)
Sometimes by the time you click into it they've already got enough of your age group / job type etc so you are screened out.
I hope you're not thinking that this type of thing will give you anything like an income...;) I've joined every survey that Valued Opinons have sent me and in the past YEAR have earned just over £50.Thanks to those that post the comps!!

i do onepoll , sometimes this does happen if you tick a box where you no longer qualify and it can be quite annoying if you have filled in a few pages but keep at it cos some will come up which are suitable... i usually fail when they ask what job you do cos i put homemaker and i think they get quite a few under that catagory so dont need as many xMassive Thank you to all who post comps & answers on here .i'm very grateful , good luck all.

Are you serious? This is the place to discuss paid surveys, they have been discussed in here since MSE time began!!
Paid surveys have never, and never will be a competition, so why move a thread about them into there?Hi Paigesaunt,

Try doing a search for "survey", you will find around 300 threads on the subject of paid surveys!0 -

I've been doing surveys pretty seriously for about 6 months now, and can make about £30 a month on average. Not a fortune, but it pays for treats and makes a difference in a single income household.
Unfortunately, a lot of the surveys get sent out with bugs in, that stop you completing them. Quite common, I'm afraid. Just keep trying.Because it's fun to have money!

I started doing surveys towards the end of last year. Each day I fill out a few and some get screened out of. It is disappointing when you have spent a good 10 minutes doing one and then to be told not needed.
I like to check out my earnings when it reaches the £10 earned. That is quicker on some sites than others. I do not leave banked money in as I have read about forum members being told - their services are no longer required and they have lost any money earns
Payment is not great as you have do complete a lot of surveys before you reach the £10. If I get screened out, I sometimes get asked if I want to start another survey. The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0 -
I do quite a few surveys. I do the GFK one on TV viewing nearly every day, and I've won £5 Amazon vouchers quite a few times, plus it's fun.
With the other surveys, you do get screened out a lot, but when that happens you usually still get a little something. It might just be a draw entry, but that's something for a few seconds work.
I got a cheque just before Christmas for £50 from one company (perhaps 2 years worth of surveys to reach that point), plus I cashed in a lot of other survey rewards for I think £65-ish of Amazon vouchers (again, prob two years worth). I have others that I haven't cashed yet.
My fave one is Populasive (sp?) they pay well and sometimes send products to test.
So, you won't make anything like a living out of it, but it's a fun hobby and a little extra spending money. Just don't be upset when you get screened out. It's nothing personal I'm sure
