Hi all,
We were doing great with our debts, I then had DS and he was very poorly, spent a long time in hospital and debts kind of fell by the side - it wasn't a priority. - Then Hubby had 2 nervous breakdowns in 18 months and gave up his job! since then we've been struggling. I've just gotten hold of the reins so to speak and attempting to sort everything out.
I've decided to go on a DMP, we have 3 months arrears on everything. We can only just afford to survive paying the bills so paying the extra is going to be hard. I'm determined though this time and i'd like to to be debt free before my DS goes to school in Sept 16 whilst giving them the best life and enjoying them being children! (not including mortgage!) Once that happens I'll be starting on becoming mortgage free. I May need some guidance and i don't get loads of time on the laptop but I'm going to give it my best shot! Hubby is back in work and feeling good - apart from the head in sand when it comes to the debts. Both my little ones are Coeliac so shopping is never as cheap as it could be. - I get their bread on prescription but there treats etc i buy, and at 1.65 for 8 biscuits etc it's not cheap!
Just wanted to say hi to everyone and not looking forward to this difficult rode ahead but looking to the end and hoping for sunnier times xxx

You get that tail back out and hold your head up high! You've done a great job just keeping your family together, don't even THINK about feeling guilty for going through all that.
Well done on trying to get cack to normality now. I'm sure helpful suggestions will arrive shortly, just wanted you to feel supported rather than sheepish!0
