Remaining dental cement on teeth after braces

After my braces were removed, I can still feel varying amounts of dental cement on 9 of my teeth when I scrape my nail over them. I've already informed my dentist of this (along with the fact that I'm not 100% happy with my teeth after braces but that's another story), was told that it would be looked at, but nothing really came of it after repeated trips.

Will these cause any harm to my teeth in the long run, and is there any way that I can remove them at home? Thanks for any tips!

It's not unusual for a few little bits to be left after debonding.

They often flake off by themselves, or get flicked off when your own dentist/hygienist does a regular clean.

If you're concerned by the amount though then either persue it with the orthodontist, or ask your regular dentist to take a look at it.
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.
