Hi. Am thinking about getting a loan or mortgage for £20000. Does anyone know which bank etc offers the lowest interest rate please?

This link http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/loans/cheap-personal-loans
has a list of some of the cheapest representative rates for unsecured loans over £15k. But which lender would specifically offer you personally the cheapest rate may be a different lender, as they all have different risk profiles.
For a mortgage who would be cheapest would depend on lots of other factors whether you already have a mortgage on the property, the property value, how long you want to repay the loan over etc. Some mortgage lenders won't lend less than £25k I believe.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Its not as easy as " anyone know which bank etc offers the lowest interest rate" as the rate you get is dpendant on many factors, you can look at the website for each of the banks and see what they offer.0

I've never understood the habit of joining a message board and putting your user name in a thread title.
Anyway, you're probably best posting more detail in the mortgages part of the forum.

What income you have, what debts you have and how much deposit you have saved would help.0 -

I think you'll find it's subtly different.0
