Talk To Me, ITV1’s new edgy and entertaining look at relationships starring Max Beesley, is released on DVD on 9th July 2007 - win DVDs!
In this modern tale of temptation and forbidden love, writer Danny Brocklehurst has crafted a compelling script with plot twists and turns every step of the way. The story certainly provides an alternative look at relationships and will no doubt leave the audience questioning the true meaning of love. Brocklehurst explains: “I wanted to have a stab at a British thirtysomething, a big series that took seriously the lives and loves of a group of professionals as they hit the decade of their life where everything changed; where careers, marriage and kids suddenly become more important.”
Max Beesley (Hotel Babylon, Shameless) is Mitch Moore, a successful late night phone-in radio DJ on London station Life FM, dispensing glib and sometimes controversial solutions to callers’ problems. He’s sexy, funny, charming and cocky; and enjoys the company of women. He leaves a trail of broken hearts as he seems to find it difficult to commit to a loving long-term relationship. In fact, he doesn’t appear to want to commit to anyone, except Claire (Laura Fraser – Vanilla Sky, A Knight’s Tale), the one woman he truly loves. Only trouble is, she’s marrying his best friend.
Three lucky winners can each grab the DVD!
