Candy Cakes!!! AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!
Candy Cakes Group, Head Office, 114 Draycott Ave, London, SW3 3AE
If you are ordering a cake for a special occasion, I would avoid Candy Cakes!
I ordered four cupcakes from a company named Candy Cakes to be delivered to my partner’ office for Valentines Day.
I was hugely disappointed by the service I received from Candy Cakes:-
The courier arrived 3 hours later than scheduled,
Then the cakes were dumped on someone else’ desk, the box was open (as it the lid would not close properly) and everyone in his office read the personal note which I sent to him.
In addition the box was wet and the cakes were squashed.
I emailed the company and they refused to accept blame OR do anything about it!
In order to stop other people from being mistreated, I thought I would share my negative experience with Candy Cakes.
Thanks

Let me start by saying that we are very sorry for your experience.
All our deliveries are made by courier service, which requires a signature upon a delivery. It is a common practice that deliveries are either left at the reception or at the next available person. I have given you the proof of delivery with the name who has received the cupcakes. The delivery was booked on the day, and you have been informed that we cannot guarantee delivery times on the day, we could only guarantee the cupcakes to arrive before 5pm, actual delivery time was 2:30pm.
I am very sorry that it has come to this, but we have offered you a full refund under the circumstance that you provide us with the pictures of damaged cupcakes.
We thrive in providing good customer service and we have attempted to resolve this situation, however some things are simply out of our control. We cannot be held responsible if somebody in the office decides to open a package that was not meant for them and I would suggest speaking to the manager about that issue.
Again please accept our sincerest apologies for this inconvenience, but Candy Cakes have certainly not scammed you as the delivery has been made and the goods received.
Kind regards,

Although Candy Cakes should probably have sought permission before posting I do love that there's 2 sides to every story :rotfl:0

i love choclate and candy cakes seem to be one in the same person. How likely is it that this person {with only 2 posts regarding the same thing} are then found by the exact company moments later?! TROLLOLLOLLOLLOLL. bog off!
