For the first time in the UK, Season Six of the much-loved 1990’s cult television series Northern Exposure is available to own on DVD box set, released by Universal Playback on 25th June 2007 - win the DVD boxset!
Joel Fleishman misunderstands the terms of his scholarship agreement after graduating from medical college, leaving him no choice but to move to the remote and eccentric town of Cicely, in the wilds of Alaska. Grudgingly, he comes to know the peculiar locals and eventually finds that they aren’t as backward and intolerable as he originally thought! His comical ‘fish out of water’ experiences are both entertaining and heart-felt, making for a series of amusing and well-told stories.
This sixth season sees Joel weather a bumpy relationship with Maggie in its usual quirky, surreal style, and starts off with a mistakenly drug induced trip to New York to see what might have been…if not for Cicely.
