Loans for 10,000

I don't know what's available on the loans market, but what I will say... Make sure that you really, really need this money now, and that there's no way a relative could lend you what you need to pay them back when the trust fund comes through.
You might struggle to get a loan under 18, as well, and need someone to undersign it, as well as having the trust fund.
I know that it's hard being broke at 17, but are those "lots of things" really things you can either do without for a few months, or save up to buy sooner?0 -
No, have patience.
That money could set you up securely for a long time to come, don't waste the lot in a matter of minutes0 -
There's a reason that the money will not be available until you are 18. I suspect it would be better if it were even later, given your keenness to spend it. You have your whole life ahead of you; take it easy.Hi I am 17, I have a trust fund and 11,000 available to me when I am 18. But there are a lot of things I wish to use it for now, is there any way I could get a loan for it and I don't know sign a contract for access when I am 18? many thanks in advance
P.S. Welcome to MSE :wave:Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??

Some trust funds will allow you to borrow against the trust, if you only have a year to wait though I would say wait.
Your age would be the biggest barrier to any loan from a high street lender.0 -
How do you know it is not for something to set me up for life? It is not fair to assume I will spend it all in minutes, I am not stupid nor materialistic. I just have things I wish to pursue to set me up for life, but do not have the resources. Which is why I wish to have the money earlier. But thanks guys!0

Maybe if you gave us an idea of what you wanted to buy, we could give you our thoughts on how to save money buying what you want / advising you to wait til you're older etc....
We were all 17 once
Didn't see you were a newbie... Welcome to the forum! :j :j0 -
So what is it you want it for then ?0

Whatever it is for it will not happen - no lender even pay day lenders will not lend to a minor.0

A new plasma, chavvy Corsa or what ever it is you are planning on buying will not set you up for life.0
