click to wins take FORVER.

I like to consider myself pretty "good" at comping, meaning I type fast, and usually do all mag dailies, instants, click to wins, and quite a few dailies/rcs AND keep up to date with the board every day, but I'm serisouly strating to struggle now lol
Good job I enjoy the thrill of comping hey! :D

I timed myself yesterday. It took me 10 minutes to do one of them. I can touch type and pretty fast but, I don't know if it's really worth it anymore!

especially if there's loads more going to be added! x
December Wins: £300 worth of board games, £500 Tesco Vouchers Best Win in 2023: £500 Tesco Vouchers
  • When I first started clicktowins a month or so ago, there were only about 27 clicktowin comps I was bothered about entering. Now the number of sites has doubled and today I counted 61 tabs open for the four big clicktowin pages. Wow. That puts my comp entries to 167 daily mag comps, ~300 clicktowin comps, 37 dailies, plus the normal comps. And this month has been pretty pathetic in terms of wins for all that effort!

Takes me 9 or 10 mins to do one - that's with ex-secretarial speed touch typing and not entering every single one but there's one - That's Life - that offers you each giveaway one by one instead of a whole page so you can choose. That's starting to make me antsy and I'm thinking of ditching it. The ones that are 15 pages long and where the first one or two put you through a mini survey before you can go further are next in line for the bin. I'm just not sure that, on balance, they're worth it.

15 pages on the first one

Does everyone know that you don't have to type spaces or any special characters?

TV choice also does that and it drives me mad, but I just keep selecting "all giveaways" rather than "skip this one" as tbh there are more I don't enter than what I do. (does that make sense?)
it's a quicker way to get through them anyway.

And for the survey ones, you don't have to answer all the questions. I normally just select No or None of these, and it takes you right to enter.

spaces, I'm not sure, but you don't need to type the commas or exclamation marks or such.

Hi, what I mean is that if the captcha is "maple syrup", I type "maplesyrup". It always goes through fine that way.

  • What I do is click on each clicktowin comp I want to enter with my middle mouse button so it opens a new tab. Like I said, I had 61 tabs open for ones with 15 pages. :) Then I enter the captcha, close, enter captcha, close, etc. Takes me about an hour, maybe a little more to do them all (300+). :)

I didn't know about spaces but I knew about the letters.
It's crazy. It's took me all day to do my dailies/instant wins/mag dailies/Tuesday weeklies and click to wins. saying that, I do have 2 young children and a fianc! who's off work for the week and I did cook the most amazing fry up for dinner lol
Kids bedtime at 7, then shower for me, then onto the main board!
    It's hard work lol

And February has been very quite in terms of wins for me too. I won a wooden spoon last night...although, I can't actually touch wooden spoons or lolly sticks so might give it to my mum lol.

you also don't need to type in correctly - it will accept one wrong character .
