Hi
Received an email this morning addressed to me (first name) with the following
is not a joke, you are our possible winner!
Congratulations!
You have been selected as a possible winner of 2 x £ 1,000 shopping vouchers:
Argos - Currys - TopShop - Boots!
If selected please click here.
This offer is highly limited and only available to a selected few!
Your possible win: two shopping vouchers of a value of £ 1,000 each.
Given it says "possible win" rather than actual win I'm thinking scam but thought I'd check with you folks first...
Too good to be true? It's from finest on the web and there is a registered address. Said I'm signed up to Deal Alert

Sounds very spammy and suspicious to me. There is loads of this type going round that says you "may" have won, are a "possible" winner or have the "chance" to win, and you can pretty much bet your life that you win nothing with them0

I get a lot of these and they always use my full name and sometimes address. One thing I have noticed is that if there is an 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom of the e-mail it is usually spam.
