Can anyone tell me if someone who is already bankrupt can go bankrupt again ?
Lets say they are half way through a BRO order of 3 years, but find themselves in trouble again, and looks like going Bankrupt is the only solution... can you go bankrupt again whilst beign banrupt already ???
Thanks
Steve

You probably could, but the scrutiny would be 100%

For me the question is how did you manage to get into trouble while undischarged? I would imagine this would be the ORs first question too. I suppose if you were allowed to carry on trading as a sole trader and things went wrong then that would be a reasonable explaination. But if you have somehow managed to get personal credit then that raises a whole new bunch of questions which could be tricky and could be seen as fraud.
Perhaps if you fully explained the situation then we might be able to offer a little more help and advice.:A

I think we need a bit more info if you fel able to give it so that the circumstances can be checked out.

YEs you can go BR multiple times but if they're close together, you'd be classed as acting irresponsibly which, AFAIK, can ultimately end up being a criminal matter.0

Don't you usually get a letter from the OR first if they intend trying to claim any BI? Usually in all my dealings with the OR involving my house, the OR wrote and then their solicitors sent the legal papers.0
