Toluna problems

Has anyone else recently had problems when trying to use voucher codes issued by Toluna?
I tried to use a £15 code before Xmas on Amazon and was told the code had already been claimed. I filled in their online Support form but they are painfully slow to deal with - almost to the point of being downright shady and evasive. I kept asking for status updates but I was simply ignored. Finally they gave me my 60K points back and 10K points as a goodwill gesture. I immediately cashed those in and they have been "Processing" for weeks now.
Just prior to that I saw that another voucher I'd claimed ages before had finished "Processing" (whatever the hell that means) so I made a note of it by emailing the code to myself and saving the email for later use. I've just tried to use that code and I've been told by Amazon that this code has also already been used!!!
I'm a member of 4 or 5 other panels and have NEVER had an issue - and I get the codes within 24 hours, sometimes just minutes after claiming them. None of this "Processing" nonsense and then not telling you when they're actually ready.
Anyone out there experienced similar issues?

Ive never claimed e vouchers from them but all love2shop vouchers always took forever to arrive, their surveys pay pennies not worth the effort, after 4 years im leaving Toluna, just waiting for my last voucher,0

Started surveying in December and claimed my first voucher from Toluna a week ago..
Since starting with them I've heard plenty of stories on here of "processing" taking 6 months .. I'm not holding my breath.
Not sure it's really worth using them, 80000 points for £15.. 2000ish points per survey on average.. 40 surveys for £15.. 38p per survey.. (assuming 20 minutes per each) 14 hours or so... particularly when it take so long to get rewards and hassle to get them...0 -
Now they really are starting to annoy me. I posted a simple polite question on their website asking if anyone else had experienced similar problems and within a couple of hours the post had mysteriously disappeared. These people are how you imagine the !!!!! to be! They are so secretive it's untrue. Who the hell do they think they are?! I've been a member for years and this just isn't on.
I've got 2 Amazon codes "Processing" and if they actually work (and I won't hold my breath on that score) I'll spend them double quick and then close my account. After that I might just knock up a quick website to detail my experiences with them and to warn people what to expect. There are much better survey panels out there for people to use.
Let battle commence!0 -
This is bad news but not at all shocking to me. I was a member of Toluna in the good old days when they used to give you a chance to earn plenty of points by getting replies to comments and the like and they were also pretty good at getting vouchers through in reasonable time.
Then it seemed that they tightened up on everything. If anything was mentioned in comments which they didn't like the post was removed. If anybody complained about not receiving vouchers the post was removed. It gradually started taking silly amounts of time to get the required 80000 points for a voucher.
They also used to get you right to the end of a stupidly long survey just to screen you out at the last minute and give you nothing. They claim that if this happens the information you have already provided is discarded and of course we believe that don't we?
Then the vouchers started to take months to come in. I made a fair few online friends as well through the Toluna forums and they all gradually vanished. There are far too many better survey sites out there to waste any more time with trash like this.
I would suggest that you cash in when you can and then start looking elsewhere unless you want to lead a life of surveying frustration and let this bunch go under which in my opinion they have worked very hard for.0 -
Well put. Yes I've had enough. I'll wait for the vouchers owing to me to appear - if I can be bothered to wait that long - and then resign. Their response to this latest episode was to ask me to change my password yet again and to contact the Police. I'm not sure if that was an attempt to fob me off but I've done just that and sent them the crime reference number.
They told me that the 80K points would be refunded shortly (which in Toluna terms could be at any point from now until Armageddon) but considering it's their fault they have made no offer or gesture of goodwill at all. The arrogance with which they carry out their so-called "Customer Service" is quite breathtaking.

I went to order 2 photobook vouchers worth £5 after taking many surveys, and i was pleasantly surprised that they required a small amount of points. 5 weeks later and i finally received my vouchers and they came to a grand total of £0.19. I have emailed Toluna many times about this but they have not replied. Ridiculous. I read the terms and conditions again to double check, and indeed they do promise £5. Will be either trying to get points or vouchers back.0

I gave up on Toluna a long time ago - I got very frustrated by being told I didn't match the criteria, after working my way through a survey. Ok, if it happens once of twice, but not most of the time. Total waste of time, in my opinion. Despite spending lots of time on Toluna, I don't think I earned enough points to get a voucher!0

I have given up with Toluna. I reached the reward of £25 Amazon voucher.
Asked for it. Site kept saying prossessing....then dissapeared! Points removed and no voucher.
Many surveys completed for nothing. The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0
