Mighty Deals Are Absolutely Awful!!

I purchased a tablet and Bluetooth speaker for my son totalling £116.96 from Mighty Deals UK.

I did not receive any vouchers after 72 hours and being unable to get through on the phone to them, (I kept a screen shot of a 45 minute call on hold that was never answered!)...I sent a recorded delivery letter at a cost of £6.22, requesting that my order be cancelled with a full refund. I also sent a copy of the bank transaction.

I had two e-mail responses but no progress. Can somebody advise how I can get my money back please. Thank you in advance.

I previously posted a complaint and appeared to get some form of progress from [Removed] at Mighty Deals. Unfortunately he is just like [Removed] and [Removed] from Mighty Deals who contact you then do nothing.

I am still waiting for my refund and this is really starting to get on my nerves.

I have sent a recorded delivery letter, I have emailed and called numerous times, the latter with ZERO success, but to date, I still do not have a refund.

Has anybody had resolution with this ridiculous company?

Having been absent for the whole of February it is good to see the "Mighty Deals Representative" back on these boards catching up on all the many complaints there have been in their absence.

Maybe they were on a Mighty Deals Holiday somewhere :)
  • Do not use them ever - a complete disaster from start to finish and they took money I did not authorise. stay well clear
  • I too am trying to get my money back from them. After buying a tablet which was faulty in October, I sent it back a few weeks later, and having heard nothing from them despite them having received my parcel in the first week of December, I managed to get through in January and they promised to sort my refund out and would call me back to confirm, but I have heard nothing from them since, (oh apart from a voicemail from a lady who said she would email me, and then in her email she said she would try to sort it out). But she didnt. In the last 2 weeks have spent over 4 hours waiting for someone to answer the phone without luck. I will NEVER spend my money with them again. Useless bunch of crooks.
  • I have had issues with Mighty Deals this week. Ordered a voucher for a Google Tablet for my Mother-in-Laws birthday present on Wednesday, they have taken the money from my account and I still haven't received the code. Who even knows if the actual tablet will even arrive!! I've sent emails, made phone calls and have now emailed the Mighty Deals rep from this forum.

Hopefully I will get a response. Terrible service!

Following my numerous complaints, I am happy to say that I received a full refund from Mighty Deals 5 weeks post cancellation of my order. This was for non receipt of vouchers and my inability to contact customer services by telephone. Albeit the refund did not include the cost of a registered letter or the compensation for the time input and stress...I am grateful.

Mine is a relatively small problem, I sent for a multi room remote only £9.99 but two months later, still not received it! Despite email contact from an ** there and repeated promises from her. She blames the manufacturer. She says now they have sent it twice and we haven't received it.

I wouldn't touch them with the proverbial! Any threats don't work, she says it's all in the T & C's.

I was also in contact with **, a 'Graphic Designer' and have now been referred to the 'Tech Team'. Seems like they don't actually have a customer service team which would explain why they are so bad at it!

I've also contacted my credit card company and if all else fails can put in a claim on non-delivery of goods, which will also probably take months to get the money back but I won't rest until I do!

It goes without saying I won't be using Mighty Deals again!
