Do you owe any money on both contracts and who pays for your partners contract?
If you owe nothing and it is a reasonable tariff then you can keep yours, if you pay for your partners then it might be harder to swing that one but if your partner pays you money each month for the contract and you can prove that to the OR then I cant see why it would be a promble.0 -
There are two questions here.
Will the companies allow you to carry on with the contracts? If you are up to date with your payments it is hard to see why they would not.
Will the OR let you make the payments? Here the important point is that the OR does not tell you what you can spend your money on. The OR will only allow a certain amount in the Statement of Affairs used to set whether you pay an IPA. But you don't actually have to spend the money on those things. If you want 2 expensive phones, then you will have to spend less somewhere else, or your partner will have to pay for one or both of them, it's your choice.0 -
My wife and I were/are on a Tesco Mobile contract when we petitioned for BR last year. They were both about £15/month each and were up-to-date as far as payment was concerned. We saw no reason to include them in in our BR. The OR wasn't bothered either.
We are now both discharged and Tesco Mobile are still non-the-wiser.Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy crap we dont need!:think:0
