6 Days left then what?

Hi guys,
I have 6 very long days left of my BR but I am wondering what happens afterwards.
Will the OR contact me to confirm I'm discharged?
Will I get a letter as proof? (save me paying the courts for a cert)
When will my credit file show my debts are satisfied (currently all saying defaulted)
When is the best time to start clearing up my credit rating
and lastly when is the best time to apply for a credit card (vanquis), not that I need or want any form of credit, i just want to start building up my credit rating again.
Thanks for anyone who can help

From what I read on these boards AD can be a bit of an anti climax, but still can't wait for mine!
You can contact the OR to ask for paperwork confirming your AD but don't think they usually contact you.
It's not worth applying for a cc until your credit file is cleaned up with all your debts stating satisfied on date of BR. You can contact them as soon as you like after AD (see stickies) Check your credit file again after AD to see if they have updated.
Good luck, I hope the next 6 days fly over for you. Enjoy your fresh start.0 -

Cheers,
I have just realised it actually only 5 days so woohoo
.
I am wondering if my credit file changes once AD or will it take a few months to process?
I dont want to hound people if its already going through the motions.
Also an anti-climax to some but it will mean the world to mean, my past will finally be over :j:j:j:j0
