So quite sad but totally understand and just hope you now enjoy lots of lie in's:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

thanks to Nudge for the many threads over the years

if anyone is around early each morning and wants to just start the thread off, we will just have to hope people will post the coupons from their papers each day

afraid I only buy a paper on saturday now and then only for a TV guide

May I add my thanks for the wonderful job you have done, greatly appreciated. I assumed you were a newsagent( like many others did) the very fact that you actually bought the papers and posted all the info from them over the years makes your input even more worthy of well deserved praise.Thank you.
  • I would like to say a big thank you to you too Nudge for all your sterling work in going through the papers you get and posting the offers so early. You have always gone the extra mile too, by checking for posts and replying to any queries people had. I agree you should get a medal too. I wish you and your husband all the very best for a rest now. xx

    Thank you Nudge.

I used to dip into this thread occasionally and found it really useful.

All the time and effort you have put into this is very much appreciated by me.

Thanks for all your efforts. I cannot disagree with your sentiments either. The offers more and more became the reason for buying the paper rather than wanting the paper itself but the offers are not as tasty as used to be.

    Hi Again All

I am sorry to say that from this Saturday I will not be
posting on the Newsaper Thread Anymore.
We are cancelling the papers and only buying them if
and when, and if we do it will be much later in the day
    at the supermarkets
The newspapers now in my opinion are just not worth
what you pay for them, and gone are the days when
you got lots of bits and pieces back from them
Sorry if it is a disapointment to some and I hope maybe
someone else will have a go at it
    Nudge

    A very belated thank you.
Just realised I hadn't seen any postings from you lately.
Thanks for all your hard work on the newspaper thread.
