Thanks to TishoG in HUKD I saw this offer I love it....
Newham residents can travel for 1/2 price of £3.30 adults and £1.70 children. Must have proof of residency. Each resident can take up to 3 other guests so a good chance to give someone who is a visitor to UK can enjoy them selves.

It's a good ride, just try to avoid getting stuck half way across with a claustrophobic person in the cable car as happened to me!0

It's a shame it couldn't be extended to all Londoners as TfL has borne the costs(and by extension Londoners)!

There are cameras in the cars. Someone could have fun (or not) watching the CCTV.....who's up for the 100 metres high club?
But I agree the offer should be available to all London residents as we all paid for it through our council tax to the Greater London Authority, not just those in the neighbouring boroughs.0
