I wear varifocals, and have ordered online from Zenni for a number of years with no problems . The site is American, but the glasses come from China. Delivery is $9, no matter how many pairs you order at a time. I generally order 2 at a time, at a total cost of around £90.

I would try Tesco's. I've always been pleased with them. You can get frames from £15 which I wear. With my basic prescription for short sightedness. I have a pair for driving as well. I just ask for the same prescription but as sunglasses. I can't remember the price for these but it isn't expensive by any means.

    That concerns me - China
What happens if they fail to deliver or more importantly my card details get into the "wrong hands" ?
or simply - they are not good quality.

I have just ordered my sixth pair from Zenni, and this will be my second pair of varifocals. I have nothing but praise for them, and I have normally got them quicker than I have from Tesco's. Zenni now accept Paypal so you have no worries about them having credit of debit card details. But, as previously mentioned, they are ordered from America and made and delivered from China. Remember many of the High Street Glasses Frames and Lenses originate from China.

I've used Glasses Direct a couple of times and been really happy with the glasses. I get them when they're 2 for 1 so I can get sunglasses as well. Very fast service too.
