M&S Marks & Spencers roses - the worst roses EVER!

Options
Did anyone else buy the Marks & Spencers dozen red roses linked from the valentines section of this site? (Think it was also in the news letter/email, but not sure)??

Well, mine didn't even last a day. They started wilting almost immediately. Half way through the day they had pretty much had it. The following day they were as dead as can be.

I've given roses to my partner for valentines day for many years, like many guys, so we know how to look after them. We did all the usual things to try to perk them up, but nothing helped. They've been from various places and at varying prices. But these...... ARE BY FAR THE WORSE I'VE EVER SEEN !

So they came with free chocolates, so what, it's the flowers I was after/paying for.

I've emailed a letter of complaint, but I was just wondered if anyone else had the same experience as me??

  • Didn't buy this offer but my OH often gets my roses from M&S and they generally last a really long time. I'm sure that M&S will probably give you some money back and its probably something like them being stored wrongly before they got to you.
  • Just to update anyone interested, I've been emailed to say that they're giving a full refund and will be posting a £10 M&S voucher. Better and a faster response than most companies, so can't complain at that part. Just wish the flowers were what anyone would expect. According to my partner, then were in an inflated sealed bag, with no water/moisture in there.

Sorry to hear about that. Last year somebody here complain - it was absolutely the same situation. I guess quality of service at M&S is dropping.
