BAFTA bags

I've entered so many of these over the past few weeks!
My question is, what are they? I thought they were spares of bags the nominees were given at the event, but how do they choose who has what? The EE one looks far more interesting than the other one, it has a Nokia phone. Do stars really need these things??
I'm confused!!

There are official bafta nominee bags - they are the same ones the stars get and normally worth £800 or so.
Then there are sponsor goody bags - so for example a lot of charles worthington ones about - which just have their products in and are worth about £50Not really comping any more as too ill - but hoping to win £1000+ in 2017 in cash prizes - watch this space!0 -
The rising star bag seems to have less worth than the nominee's bag.
Obviously if you're nominated for the rising star award you don't get as many goodies as the other nominees because you're not as famous! The rising star one is worth £700 (it mentioned it on one of the comps).
They are the goodie bags given to the stars/nominees. And no, they don't need freebies but, as always, once you're rich and don't need this stuff, that's when you get given it.
imo the nominee one isn't as good this year cos it has a fancy tote bag instead of a lovely designer handbag and I dream of a luxury handbag.
That's about all of the info I have.Thank you to everyone who posts on the competitions boards. You all rock!0 -
I'm not sure about the differences between different categories of bag, but one thing I have noticed is that the bags on offer this year seem a lot less impressive than last year's!! Here is a sample of a comp from last year, I'm sure this year's ones don't have that much in??

Not that I'd be complaining if I won one of course!! I'm entering them all, even if only for the phone included!0 -
I see, so lots of different sponsors of the event giving out their own bags and the more famous you are the better the bag!
Do you remember last year someone won 2?!! How cool was that!!
Yes, it did look better last year didn't it. Oh well, I'd like whichever one I manage to win if any (although a Product of the Year bag would be much more useful)

I would be happy to win any of them, entered so many of these last year and am again this year. I agree that some do look more impressive than others though.

I've already won a Lumia this year, so I don't mind the more 'basic' bag :rotfl: Y'know, I'm not fussy or anything...0

LOL, I'm just holding out till I become famous and I can have ALL the bags! :rotfl:;)"The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,
