Rosehip powder - what to do with it?

Options
I need ideas on how to work rosehip powder into recipes? I picked up a pack as I remember reading that it is a good anti inflammatory for arthritis but I can't see how to incorporate it at the moment.

I have searched the web for ideas but don't fancy rosehip tea.

  • My mum sprinkles it on her porridge :)
  • I don't see why it wouldn't work in a muffin, say. I intend to dehydrate my own this year so will have to experiment then. Maybe you could add it to a jelly when it's melted. Or make ice cream out of it.

  • Add it to your cooking in increasing amounts.

However you will probably be better off with bone broth soup on a regular basis to reduce the permeability of your digestive system which causes the immune reaction to larger absorbed food molecules.

sprinkle it into muesli? or, a crumble mix? It probably would be fine in a fruits of the forest mix too.

Be careful serving it to potentially pregnant women, iirc it is an abortifacient.
