dodgy phone call

Just in case anyone else gets a call from this number..02073451299. They phoned today, it was a foreign lady who said I'd entered a competition to win either an ipad or £10.000. She knew my dob, email and name. Then asked for my postcode. I got suspicious and asked why she needed it, she said they need my address in case I win. I asked her to hang on a moment (as I wasn't sure what to do) and then she hung up on me. I've looked this number up online and from an old conversation I found on netmums, they seem to think it's a company who try and sell you lottery tickets. So just thought I'd let my fellow compers know because it's the first time I've ever had a phone call like that and I first thought it may have been genuine.

Thanks for the heads up! I often get calls from people saying similar but alarm bells ring as soon as they say 'and can you just confirm your email address as XXXXX@XXXX.com' and the email address they state is an old email address I deactivated over 5 years ago!!! So I know I have not recently entered their 'so-called' comp and just hang up!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

How annoying"The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming"0
