Al, I don't wanna put you off or anything

but it took me nearly 18 months :eek: for my first big win


mind you when I started on here, the volume of comps was pretty sparse

I've just had my first proper win ....an ipod shuffle on the pirelli site

I've been comping since the end of March and I won a family cinema ticket in May and also a lacoste goody bag in may (still waiting for the lacoste stuff to come).

Mustafa - i've done that quiz for days and days on end to win the shuffle and i haven't won yet! Well done I've won loads of MP3 vouchers that i'll never use unless I get the ipod though. If i don't win the ipod i may give them away here!

I haven't won anything really big but within a week of comping I have won about £30-£35 of prizes.

It's the anticipation of winning ................so nice to see the postman turn up with a parcel! :T

I've had mainly small wins and 3 or 4 medium ones. Still waiting for a biggie!

My first win was a tee shirt, and a cd by someone called Nathan, never heard of him then, or since, and neither had the family, but the tee shirt was handy.

When I started comping regularly it took me over 6 months to start seeing any prizes come in.
I think it takes that long to get a good build up of entries out there.
I'd won a couple of things before that, but it was winning those things that got me into this hobby.
Since I started winning I've had a steady stream of prizes, most of them dvd's and cd's, but a few good prizes are coming in now.
