VCR Head Cleaner Tape

I have an LG video player, and I need a head cleaning tape - can't seem to find these anymore. Bought one off Ebay, but it wouldn't work on my VCR (probably because it was a very old Waltham tape - the sort where you put liquid onto the 'tape' - wouldn't even run in my machine).
Can anyone help? Can't watch any of my old tapes anymore

Ever considered getting a DVD player instead??The reason people don't move right down inside the carriage is that there's nothing to hold onto when you're in the middle.0

If you have any pound shops or similar near you you sometimes find head cleaners in there.
Also Maplins do them
