Hi All
Ive got friends coming round for dinner on Saturday
For main course in I am cooking Stuffed Pork Fillet with Chorizo, Thyme and Caramelised Apple, Roasted New Potatoes and veg
I would like to do a 'fancy' dessert and I am thinking about doing a posh trio of desserts except I don't know what 3 to make!!
I am thinking something like Lemon Posset, Raspberry Macaroon and ?????
Any ideas? No chocolate please!

Crème brulee or in this cold and damp weather would a hot desert be appropriate such as sticky toffee pudding?0

Key lime pie or Banoffee done in little shot glasses. Or mini meringues with toffee sauce, or Eton Mess. I love desserts0

Lemon and raspberry compliment each other beautifully, sounds delicious,. I would say that your posset with be smooth and soft, your macaroon gently chewy. I'd be looking for something sharp and snappy really in texture, whether that's in the actual pudding or by adding some brittle or a sugar basket. The simplest way to compliment your flavours IMO would be a little sharp broken sliver of pistachio or other nut brittle. Would be very beautiful, if not an actual pudding.
Edit. I also like the idea of meringue offered above, so long as well cooked for crunch on the outside. For your lemon and raspberry flavours personally I'd compliment with a rose flavoured meringue.0
