a hard drive is a hard drive, doesn't matter what you store on it. Need to decide if you need/want ide or sata and then just look at ebuyer, microdirect5 etc0

A hard drive isn't always just a hard drive! I'm looking for a multi media hard drive too, as in one which has TV connections so you can connect straight to TV or HiFi with your audio/video files.
I know they are out there, I came here to see if anyone has any recommendations. I've been looking at the Freecom Network MediaPlayer-35 at www.svp.co.uk - anyone bought or used one of these?0 -
the hard drive is just a hard drive like blacksheep said, the caddy is all that alters whether it is a media player. I use teh Sumvision Aqua from SVP with a spare 80GB HD and it works fine. I didn't overly need the ability to keep it networked so price took me away from the Freecom player0
