Lottery Wins

Options
Morning peeps

Just wondering - do you include Lottery wins in your A-Z challenges or number of wins or whatever other methods everyone uses to track their wins for the year?

Don't suppose it's a competition as such but.......I had 3 numbers £25 last night and I'm wondering if to add L to my list.....

What would you all do? x
2024 £72, 2023 £2230, 2022 £300, 2021 £1800, 2015 £3790, 2014 £4460

I intend to do so.... If I ever win!!!
    Although...
I think a £2 Lotto ticket is now outside of the maximum spend for listing MSE comps, so... Yes, I think that would lead me to list Lotto wins separately in my signature, and not in my alphabet...

Thanks Jessica..........your L is still black though sending you some lucky fairy dust for a lottery win and we'll see if your L turns red ;) :rotfl:

    I wouldn't, it's not a competition win it's just gambling.

If you do count it then really everytime you buy tickets (win or lose) the cost should come off your total win values for the month/year.

Have decided I agree with mjm that the Lottery isn't really a win and as Jessica says it's £2 to enter anyway, so I'm not including this in my A-Z or prize fund total.

Unless of course...........come December I'm still short of an L :rotfl:

I don't class any lotto wins as comping wins as they're not strictly competitions. I've won 2 lots of £25 since Christmas but wouldn't include them in my total.

The max spend got lifted last year - to around £2.50

I'd say that was beside the point as it's not a competition is it - it's like buying a raffle ticket. I buy these from my kids' school etc but if I won anything from them I wouldn't be putting them in my signature either as it wouldn't be a comping win!

I was being slightly tongue-in-cheek with the spending limit reference... Sorry should have made that more obvious... :o
