HPI inflation is a national scandal, free market greed at it basest form that has caused great social and economic problems.
The Muppet running the country at the moment (and most of his cabinet) has made more annually from his London house value increase in 4 years than his £142,500 pa salary. My guess is that Cameron and most of the cabinet are in favour of rising prices...
My hope would be the selfishness of the older generation of nimbys would be repaid by a callous disregard for them in their old age. The reality being that with around 1 million homes a year being seized to pay elderly care home fees annually, many that would otherwise been inheritances, the young get shafted both ends.
In ww2 people tolerated food rationing as a necessity, now we have unnecessary land planning rationing and a large proportion of the electorate seem to support it. Turkeys do vote for Christmas it seems.0
