Lila Bankruptcy Scotland

Hi there, on Friday I sent the forms away to apply for Lila Bankruptcy, I got a phone call from the accountant in bankruptcy today because I had forgot to put one of my past addresses. I was so worried that they were going to call me and say my application failed, because let’s face it, £200 is a hell of a lot of money to go down the pan! My question isss… what happens now? I know I have to wait for a letter to come through conforming if I have been made bankrupt, but what will happen after that? Some people have said they get a telephone interview, what does this entail? I am rubbish speaking over the phone and I worry that my nerves will get the better of my and I forget to mention something! What happens after the phone interview? How often will they get in touch with me?
Basically I’m only contracted 10 hours a week at my job, I did used to get loads of overtime but it got cut down so much last year so they could save money and now I only get 5 hours overtime a week on top of my 10 hours! I work Saturday 5 hours and Sunday 10 hours. (5 of those hours are overtime.) When I do overtime it goes in a month later, for example, all the overtime I did in January will go in at the end of this month. I got paid earlier in December which meant more Sundays to do overtime meaning my pay will be higher than usual next month (Maybe about £920?) meaning I will have a surplus. But this month the overtime supervisor forgot to put me in for one Sunday and February is already a short month so in April I might only get about £850 meaning I would actually have a minus. It is a total dip, but my wages are different EVERY MONTH. Does this mean that I will have to send payslips every month? I wouldn’t obviously mind doing that if it means I’m not completely scraping by one month because I have earned £100 less than the month before. Without overtime, I only get about £690 a month. (I get time and a half on a Saturday and double on a Sunday)
Another thing is I’m assuming that they would want me to do a SOA form? This is one from StepChange. Will the one with Lila be different? Can you all look at the following for me and tell me if I’m being realistic:
Rent £400 Rent: Includes all bills
Water: Included in the rent
Council tax: Included in the rent
Gas: Included in the rent
Electricity: Included in the rent
Telephone/mobile/internet: £66 (Phone is £42 / Internet is £24)
TV licence: Included in the rent
Public transport £60
Food/toiletries/cleaning: £180
School meals/meals at work: £15
Pets/pet foods/insurance: £45 (I have two indoor cats so buy cat litter twice a month aswell as food)
Tobacco: £28 (I smoke about 20 a week - but I am desperately trying to stop!)
Dentist/opticians £5
Hairdressing £15
Clothing/footwear £25
Sports/hobbies/entertainment £35
Other (Contact lenses) £25
TOTAL: £899
Will they look at that and urge me to stop anything? Again I am trying to give up smoking but I have smoked since I was 18 so it might take some time and hard graph! My phone is rather expensive but I’m contracted for 24 months so I’m assuming there’s nothing I can really do about that until then plus none of the usage goes to waste as I do have loads of family overseas so I do use it to take to them. My internet is a 24 month contract aswell.
Last month I got two fillings and since then I have had bad shooting pains in one of my teeth. My live in landlord works as a dental nurse and thinks I might need root treatment. I have seen if I am eligible to get a discount on dental treatments, but apparently not, so I do have to pay for it myself. My question is if I do get this done next month, will they allow it and deduct it from my surplus? Obviously if I send a receipt of how much it cost?
I never ever go out drinking, the only main hobbies I have are Yoga and Boxing which I do once a week. Which is what the £35 in Sports / Hobbies payment comes to. I gather they will want me to give these up as they are leisure?
Public transport is based around bus & taxi travel to work. When I work on a Sunday morning (I start at 7:30am), the buses don’t start early enough to get me to work on time so I have to pay £8 for a taxi to get me in. I used to be able to get a lift off of someone but they’ve moved away and there’s no one else.
I am also looking to go back to college in September, with hopes of starting Uni next year. I will still be working the above hours and be attending college during the week, but I will be getting a college bursary, how does that work in relation to my income? Will they take any of the bursary off me? I’ll likely only get the bare minimum because I am working.
I will also be looking to move into a flat of my own in that time, because we have been having on going problems with a noisy neighbour and I can't imagine being a student and having to do exams with hardly any sleep! I will get the deposit back that I gave for the room so that's not an issue. My issue is there will be months during the summer I will have to pay council tax even as a student so there will be more of an outgoing. Has anyone ever been in this situation after being declared bankrupt? I would send them my rental agreement right away, but how does it work with council tax, electricity and so on? Did you have to send proof of what you spend on them? I never watch tv and never plan on buying one so I will save on a tv licence.
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

I don't think that anyone could answer your questions. There are too many ifs, buts and maybes.
Try taking it a step at a time.
Bankruptcy is awarded. You might get an interview, you might not.
If you don't get an interview, all the rest of your post is irrelevant.
If you do get an interview, you'll be given an appointment, and can come back and ask specific questions before the interview actually takes place.
And so on.
That may sound cold, but it's not meant that way
Going through bankruptcy can be stressful enough as it is. And it can feel good to have answers to the 'what ifs'.
But worrying about the "it may never happens" can give you more stress than necessary.0 -
Haha I am a worrier, it's what I do best - that's why I'm still up at almost 1am to be honest.
I just don't want it to seem like I'm pushing my luck with the Boxing and Yoga thing - I feel that may come across as cheeky to some people.
My doctor diagnosed me with anxiety and depression last year; I refused anti-depressants because my brother was prescribed them years ago after our dad died when we were young uns' and ended up addicted to them, he's still addicted to pain killers now! So instead she sent me to a psychiatrist who recommended I take up a sport. My live in landlord was already doing Boxing classes and Yoga always interested me so those are what I chose and stuck to, I only went to three psychiatric sessions after that because the Yoga really helped with the depression and equally the Boxing helped with the anxiety and they both gave me a reason to get up in the morning as that was around the time when I lost my overtime during the week and ended up staying in bed until 1pm almost every week day!
If I have to give them up – fair be it, they are a luxury, but it would be good to know so I can prepare myself and maybe come up with new ways to keep myself occupied. But again I never go on holiday and I never go out drinking so I’m hoping I can continue to still do them both, but again I’ll just have to deal with it if not.
I'm hoping I get my letter today. x0
