Hello lovely DFWers - old timers and newbies. It's Friday :j
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Today I will be:
- sending everyone off with packed lunches
- doing end of month banking/shuffling around/panicking!!
- updating spreadsheet for July
- doing a couple of small matched bets
- making storecupboard meal
- not increasing my debt in any way
- be positive!!
- doing quidco clicks
Have a good day everyone xx

Morning hypno, morning all.
Today, the only thing I'll be doing is my finance practice this morning - a relaxation tape and focussed awareness. Then I'll be taking my book with me to London, will have to leave really early in case more delays get caused by the bomb alert - so I'll probably have loads of time to study the book. Ah well, at least it will help me focus, and I won't be mucking around on the form!
