Quick Loan Finance
Hi there,
I just wanted to describe my experience with this company today.
They cold called me out of the blue saying that I had been approved for a £2,000 loan. Then, half way though the process they started trying to take a £10 charge from my card to "arrange the loan" however they were unable to simply send me an email saying the APR, the loan period and the total payable.
I said that I would happily pay the money if they would send me an email confirming what I am paying the money for. They started getting cross and saying I was both lying and wasting their time.
There was another post on these forums that has now been removed saying that this company was a dodgy scammer and so I did not want to trust them without getting an offer in an email. However, they would not do this and the post describing the company has disappeared since I have mentioned it to them.
They said that they operate the site: quickloanfinance dot co dot uk
The call ended with me saying that I was going to describe my experience with the company on here truthfully, to which they threatened me saying that they hoped I had a lot of money spare to pay the legal costs when they sued me in the courts. I said, as long as I am being 100% truthful there was nothing that was wrong and that they should not act in a way that I would want to right on here. All I wanted was to see the offer in writing (via email) before I parted with my money.
Anyway, use if you like, this is my experience.

In addition to this If anyone says " we need your card details to take a £69.99 payment to arrange the loan " is not the time/place to hand over your card details as you will face a fight to get your money back, your hard earned cash. Any reputable lender will not ask for a fee or even cold call you. You did the right thing.
OP I suspect they are a broker hence they wanting the fee.0 -
If I were them I would have sent a confirmation email. The OP would happily pay more as long as there was an email.
Pretty unlikely op would have cared if it were a gmail or yahoo account.
How on earth can it be so simple to extract money from people? Any old random number crunching on a phone will do!0
