That's incorrect. Contribution based jsa is available to people who take large voluntary payouts so long as their NI contributions are up to date and they are actively seeking work.
The poster above is correct in that a relatively small pension payout prohibits payment of jsa, though there is nothing to stop anyone getting temporary or part time work.0
