kensignton mortgages

hi can any one help me i read some where about kensignton mortgages years ago have been fined for cumtomers over paying on mortgages and now i cant seem to see it or find it i think it was a good few years ago i was wondering if any one else had had experiance . my payment to them is £289 a month fell in arrears i at the beginning borrowed 30,000 2005, didnt pay for a couple years then made an arrangement to pay £400 i am now £12,000 in arrears pay them £400 evey month yet my balance is going up and up . they put 98 interest on every month some 12 then a 50 so im not taking noting off arrears or mortgage . cant remortgage due to arrears in a catch 22 . was wondering is there a court what would rule them to freeze interest or are they in wrong so in 25 years i will still owe them loads and wont be my home . im 52 ive lived in my terrace for years 28 infact please dont write well my fault i am just asking does any one know of any way out thanks for listen oh and ive got depressed and bad health problems too x:money:

    looking at the unedited quotes from your posts last year you have 1 mortgage and 2 secured loans to pay off the arrears.

    So do you know the apr's for the mortgage and 2 loans? Could it be the loans are higher interest which is why it feels like you're paying but not making a dent?

    As per the original thread have you contaced national debt line for their advice? I don't know if you could somehow get the loans restructured but depending how many payments you missed considering you built up such massive arrears it is a miracle you weren't reposessed. So it may come down to how much you can afford and what equity is left in the house as if your credit is shot with missing so many payments I doubt you will be able to remortage without showing a good stretch of payment history.
